Ayrton Senna Exhibition at the Lamborghini Museum

Yesterday, a new exhibition at the Lamborghini Museum in Sant'Agata Bolognese, Italy was inaugurated, showcasing the accomplishments of the racing legend, Ayrton Senna. Every F1 car Senna drove is now on display, including a special McLaren fitted with a Lamborghini engine from 1993. The exhibition will be on display from April 12th (yesterday) to October 9th.

Ayrton Senna is regarded as the greatest Formula One racing driver of all time, winning three championships in 1988, 1990, and 1991. His last race was on May 1st, 1994. While in the lead in the San Marino Grand Prix located at the Imola race track in Italy, Senna lost control of his vehicle and slammed into a wall, ultimately putting him to rest. Many changes to the Imola race track had been made over the years, due to claiming the lives of some of the worlds greatest race car drivers. With Automobili Lamborghini's racing heritage, it's heartwarming to see that CEO Stefano Domenicali cleared out the museum to celebrate the life of the worlds greatest F1 racer who ever lived.

Lamborghini Centenario Tractors

Most hardcore Lamborghini fans are aware of how the company got its start in the tractor manufacturing business, and how they still make the best tractors in the world even today. Just a few days ago, Lamborghini Trattori made an announcement that 5 special tractors named The Centenario will be created to commemorate the 100th birthday of Ferruccio Lamborghini.

Two of these tractors have already been sold, and the official announcement at Techno Classica 2017 in Germany hasn't even started yet. Much like when Lamborghini introduced the Veneno and Centenario, all cars were spoken for before their official announcements. Each of the Centenario Tractors will cost about as much as a properly loaded Huracan ($266,000). Stay tuned as more information about one-off Lamborghini products are made, we will report on it!

The Most Powerful V10 Lamborghini Ever

For those of you who were not aware of the Geneva Motor Show in Switzerland, this motor show is one of the largest in the world where the worlds elite manufactures come to display their new vehicles for the world to see. The convention has been operational within the past few days, and perhaps one of the biggest announcements amongst many others was made from Lamborghini.

The new Lamborghini Performante. This is the car that dominated the Nurburgring and set the fastest record time for any production vehicle. The Performante has a brand new and more aggressive front end, allowing for more airflow throughout. Along with a new and improved V10 engine that generates 640 horsepower, making this the most powerful Huracan ever. The new Huracan also adopts a permanent four wheel drive system and will launch from 0-60 in the same amount of time as an Aventador.

Lamborghini Delivers First of 40 Centenarios

About a year ago at the Geneva Motor Show, Lamborghini announced the car dedicated to Ferruccio Lamborghini's 100th birthday, the Centenario. Before the car was announced, all 40 of them had been bought by customers that have been with the Lamborghini brand over the past 30 years.

The Centenario is an Aventador based vehicle with a massive V12 engine and a full carbon fiber body. Priced at $1.8 million for the coupe and $2.2 million for the roadster, the Centenario is one of the most expensive Lamborghini's ever to be made. This vehicle explores new technology and engineering that will be later implemented into future Lamborghini models, and is already finding its way into the Urus.

Pre-Owned 2014 Lamborghini Aventador Roadster

The Lamborghini Aventador was originally announced in 2011 as a replacement to the Murcielago, and it took the world by storm. This was the first car that Lamborghini truly built from the ground up, without assistance from Audi, and i believe the company has found their real image. This vehicle has the sharpest lines and most hexagonal shapes i have ever seen on a car, making it look breathtaking from every angle.

 This pre-owned Aventador in particular is the roadster version, finished in Bianco Isis with a Nero Ade interior. It still has the giant V12 engine in the back and 700 horsepower like the original, however the roof comes off in two sections. The roof is made out of carbon fiber and each panel is fairly lightweight and can be stored in the trunk of the vehicle.

Pre-Owned 2007 Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder

The mid 2000's sparked the longest running model in Lamborghini history. The Lamborghini Gallardo took the world by storm only a few years after the production cycle of the Diablo. This car was brand new, had a smaller engine and a sportier look about it. There was a wind of change in the air... This was also the first time in Lamborghini history where they produced two models at the same time. The Gallardo and the Murcielago.

This Gallardo in particular boasts a powerful V10 rear mounted engine that generates 512 horsepower. Considering this Gallardo is a convertible, there isn't a clear window in the rear to view the engine, however the panel that covers the engine has larger openings to let out all of the heat generated by the engine. This car is finished in a brilliant Giallo Midas, which is a paint color Lamborghini hasn't used since the Gallardo was in production and has a beautiful Nero Ade interior.

Unveiling the Avendator S

Don't forget that tomorrow, February 25th, 2017, Perillo Downer's Grove is unveiling Lamborghini's newest car, the Aventador S at 330 Ogden Ave, Downer's Grove IL, 60515.

The brand new Aventador S has taken on quite the overhaul. Considering the last Aventador on Lamborghini's assembly line was finished just a few months ago, this was needed in order to keep the car alive for the next few years before a new model is announced. Each Lamborghini model is a 10 year car, and goes through many changes in its production timeline. The Aventador S still has a V12 engine, but also generates 40 more horsepower than the previous model.

With a newly designed front end, the Aventador S is nothing short of intimidating. It still has the overall look of the previous Aventador, but with many differences. The carbon fiber blade on the sides of the car have been taken off to save weight, and two air vents on top of the engine have been added for extra cooling, and the car also has a brand new interior which is much more ergonomic.

Lamborghini Huracan Performante Testing At The Nurburgring

Recent spy shots have been taken at the Nurburgring in Germany over the past few days, where we see that Lamborghini has been ahead of schedule with the resting of the Huracan's newest edition: The Performante. Much like the Gallardo in the past, the new Huracan Performante will be limited to probably a few hundred units.

The Performante line from Lamborghini has always been more track focused. Each car in this line has a lot of weight reduced and added power. We don't know the exact specifications of the new Huracan just yet. These days, it's very rare to lap the Nurburgring in under 7 minutes. The recent Lamborghini Aventador SuperVeloce finished the lap in 6 minutes and 59 seconds, and we think the much lighter Huracan will be able to finish in less time.

Every once in a while, Lamborghini especially in the past few years, have created very special limited edition cars that are dedicated to special milestones and events in the company. This is perhaps the best example of that, as this vehicle marks the 100th birthday of the companies founder Ferruccio Lamborghini.

Promptly named the Lamborghini Centenario LP770-4 makes this the most powerful vehicle in Lamborghini's line-up surpassing the super-exclusive Lamborghini Veneno by 20 horsepower. And just like the Veneno, all of the Centenario's were already purchased before the car was ever shown to the public and even the owners themselves. There will only be 40 different vehicles made, costing a whopping $1.9 - 2.1 million dollars and were available as a coupe or a roadster.

2018 Lamborghini Aventador S Specifications

The Lamborghini Aventador has taken on a complete makeover within the past few months, and has taken shape in a more aggressive style. This car generates 130% more downforce than the previous Aventador model, and is packed with 30 more horsepower. There is no word of a roadster model yet, but it's to be expected in the future.

Lamborghini Urus SUV Will Arrive In April, CEO Says

Lamborghini's new CEO Stefano Domenicali says the Urus production line will start running this spring and be limited to just 3,500 units.

The Lamborghini Urus was originally announced in 2012, just one year after the unveiling of the Aventador LP700-4. It boasts a hybrid twin turbo V8 engine, and aims to be the fastest SUV in the world, surpassing the Bentley Bentayga. The original concept of the Urus experimented with cameras being the replacement for side view mirrors, but due to road regulations around the world, traditional side view mirrors must be added. Not much has been revealed about Lamborghini's newest addition, but we are eagerly awaiting for more exciting news.
